Baptism of Louisa Green at Reading, Berkshire, daughter of m gggg uncle Samuel Green and Mary. In 1841 she is with her family at Baldwin Street, City Road, London where her father is a licensed victualler. In 1851, 16 year old Louisa is a house servant in John Street, Westminster, working for publican William Stables, his wife and children: her parents are not far away as they have moved to Westminster. Louisa and her sister Amelia are both working as barmaids in 1861 for Thomas Neal, licensed victualler, at Kings Road, Chelsea. She seems to have married house agent James Brett, as she is with him and a 4 year daughter in 1871 in Islington, but then can’t be found until 1901 when she is a visitor with her younger sister Amelia in Hammersmith. She died in 1907, her death registered at Islington.
